Objective
Praise Assembly Church sought to enhance their youth room by installing a state-of-the-art LED video wall as a dynamic stage backdrop. The project required seamless integration with the existing sound and lighting systems, along with flexible operation modes to accommodate both staffed and public use.
Solution
Installation
- A Vision Tech VT-X 2.4mm SMD LED video wall was installed, measuring 12 feet tall by 27 feet wide.
- The wall was designed to be ground-supported, ensuring a clear pathway behind it for stage access via a central upstage doorway.
System Integration
- The video wall was connected to multiple HDMI inputs, integrating with the church’s existing sound and lighting systems.
Operation Modes
Fully Staffed Mode
- A roll-out cart equipped with a digital sound board, lighting controller, and video switcher was provided.
- This setup allows staff to connect to the network and have comprehensive control over the video wall, sound, and lighting systems.
Simple Mode
- A Crestron TSW-770-B-S touch screen room controller, paired with a Crestron RMC4 room controller processor, was installed.
- This mode enables public use with preset lighting, video wall controls, HDMI input selection, and audio management for video and wireless microphones.
Outcome
The upgraded youth room at Praise Assembly Church now features a versatile and high-quality LED video wall, enhancing the visual experience for both staff and the public. The flexible operation modes ensure that the system can be tailored to meet the needs of any event, providing ease of use and comprehensive control.
