Objective
To replace an outdated sound system in a small college basketball arena with a modern, high-performance audio solution.
Project Overview
The task involved removing the existing speakers and amplifiers and installing a new Blaze Audio system. The goal was to enhance the sound quality and overall experience for both players and spectators.
Implementation Process
- Removal of Old Equipment: The existing speakers and amplifiers were carefully dismantled and removed from the arena.
- Installation of New System: The Blaze-Audio CBL 528 speakers and BL18S subwoofers were strategically placed around the arena to ensure optimal sound distribution.
- Time Alignment and Room Tuning: The speakers were time-aligned, and the room was acoustically tuned to deliver clear, balanced sound throughout the venue.
Outcome
The new Blaze Audio system has significantly improved the sound quality in the arena. The time alignment and room tuning have resulted in an immersive audio experience, enhancing the enjoyment of games and events for all attendees.
